Robert C. Oakes
A thirty- year veteran of warehouse and transportation management,
Mr. Oakes has also managed the industrial engineering department of
one of the nation's largest distribution companies. He also has extensive
experience in project management of IT system implementations. A graduate of
the University of Oklahoma, he also had a distinguished career in the
Air Force as a fighter pilot.
Albert Saphir
Albert Saphir has over 20 years of experience in international air
and ocean freight forwarding, transportation management, sales and marketing.
Most recently Albert held the position of the vice president for exports
for a mid sized freight forwarding company, responsible for all aspects
of export management, contract and vendor negotiations, and sales and
business development. Albert is highly experienced in transportation
negotiations, freight and audit/billing management, export regulations,
foreign customs requirements and ISO 9002. He has been active in various
trade and industry organizations, including CNS-IATA and the National
Industrial Transportation. He is fluent in German with basic knowledge
of French and Spanish. Mr. Saphir works as a contract consultant for D.C.I.
Francis Hermacinski
Mr. Hermacinski is a respected distribution industry executive with
over 30 years experience in managing warehouse and transportation operations.
Primarily in the food distribution sector, his experience ranges from
first line supervisor up to vice president of distribution, most recently
with he nation's largest food wholesaler, Fleming Inc. A frequent contributor
over the years to the food industry association workshops, Mr. Hermacinski's
experience covers such diverse areas as warehouse management, food operations,
employee relations, and warehouse maintenance and sanitation.
Robert Hermacinski
Mr. Hermacinski is a seasoned executive with over 27 years in the wholesale
food distribution industry. During his tenure at both Scrivner Inc.
and Fleming Companies, two of the largest food distribution companies
in the nation, Mr. Hermacinski has managed a wide range of operations
from transportation fleets to warehouse operations. Many of his years
of experience have been int the position of vice president of distribution
where he had P & L responsibilities for some of Fleming's largest facilities.
He has served on numerous industry related committees such as safety,
maintenance, purchasing, and productivity.
